She is not a native speaker of English, but she is pretty good at reading.

Buddy Reading March 1st, 2012

She comprehended the passage fully, emily and I just added extra explanation for her to completely understand the paragraphs she is reading.

Buddy Reading March 8th, 2012

Today, Emma read a book called 'FARTIGUS MAXIMUS'. She read it at a constant speed, which helped her progress more than before.
Her voice got louder than before, but still needed improvement on pronunciation. She read well without my help, but fixed some words that were hard to read, like immediately.


Buddy Reading March 15th, 2012

Emma completed a single book.
Read well, but still found it hard to pronounciate words like inquiry.
She read louder than the past month.
She kept her pace as she read.

Overall, she is now confident at speaking.
Has improved a lot more than the first time she read her book.

Emma showed a good quality of reading confidently today.
She read emotionally, put some expression to her voice.


Last Buddy Reading

On our last day, we read half of a book and then had a conversation about how this "Buddy Reading helped her.
Emma improved a lot on many sides that I virtually found any mistakes or errors while she read her book.
